Today Is Dr. Seuss's birthday. We celebrated by going to the local Barns and Nobel and listening to Green Eggs and Ham and coloring a picture of Sam-I-am. We had an extra kid today since we were watching a friends daughter. Ella didn't want to listen to the story, so she sat on my lap and covered her ears. She did however, want to color. Wesley and our extra kid listened very nicely to the story. Wesley even colored a little bit. Mostly he wanted to eat the crayons. When we were done coloring we played at the train table for a little bit. Then it was time to head over to "The orange tree" for some fro-yo. Turns out they don't open 'till 11 so the kids ran around the (dry) jumping fountains until it was time. Ella skinned her knee, but other than that they had a blast. It was fun to have a friend along today, Ella loves playing with other kids.
