Bon Voyage!

We are leaving tonight to drive to Mobile. We are trying to not get caught in this awful weather! We will board the ship tomorrow around midday and then be off. I won't have internet access while on the ship, but I will still be taking pictures each day so I will post the pictures day by day when we get home.

Getting ready for the Cruise

I didn't have a lot of time for picture taking today, getting ready for the cruise is a lot of work! Today we did some last minute shopping. We needed just a few things, mostly little stuff. the rest of the day was full of cleaning the house and starting packing. I did get one shot off in Wal*mart.

We weren't buying hair dye, we were getting pony-tail holders for Ella. But the kids were being cute so no time like the present right?

Tomorrow, more packing, only 1 full day until we leave for Mobile!!!!!!!

In which there is no theme, but we have fun

Today we went to our wards blogging groups "Blogger luncheon". This time it was a brunch, but it was totally fun. Everyone brought some food to share and we enjoyed chatting and looking at Hope's Blog book. It is really cool and I think I would like to make one for myself. After the brunch we went over to Nana's to help her with some chores and to do her Christmas gift for her. We gave her a coupon for a full out cleaning of the interior of her car. Nana watched the kids while I cleaned it top to bottom for our trip to Mobile Saturday for our cruise. I am SO EXCITED! Ella and Wes had fun with Nana.

Ella likes to pretend to be an animal. She found a bungee cord and asked Nana to take her for a walk on her "leash"

Then she decided to put the leash on Bunny....

Bunny Vetoed that idea.

Wesley thought catching the cat was a good idea, luckily for Bunny, Wes is too big to fit through the whole in the fence.

While at the store for Nana, I got the kids some small balloons. Wesley thought this was a grand idea.

Gymnastics again!

Today was another gymnastics class at Madison Gymnastics. I know I have already posted about gymnastics, but this time I was able to actually get some shots and video of Ella doing her actual class. Ella has been running hot and cold about gymnastics since we started, but today she was all excited about going. I am really enjoying this gym, I like it heaps better than Tumblebeez. The best thing about our semester at TB was her teacher. She had a WONDERFUL teacher, Miss Marsha. I was most concerned that her new teacher wouldn't be as good but I have to say that Miss Tammy is AWESOME! She is so patient with the kids and really takes the time to show them the correct way to do things. I feel like Ella is really learning something here. Ella really likes her too, enough that she doesn't complain too much when she is told to re-do something and she even listens pretty good to her directions. Today she was really excited to do the beam. She was delighted when she got to go on the "Big girls" beam instead of the "Styrofoam" beam. (it isn't really Styrofoam, but kinda looks like it!) I can't wait till Wes is big enough to go too, I think he will have fun.

Dr's and lunch.

Since Wesley still isn't well and he has been ill since last Tuesday I decided that it was finally time to take him over to the Dr. We got an appointment at 11:30 (right in the middle of nap time of course!) and dropped Ella off at Mom's before heading over. Wesley wasn't interested in sitting in the waiting room at all. He wanted to check out the office.

Then he discovered the motion sensor sliding doors. FREEDOM!

Turns out he is fine, and just needs to get some probiotics and some softer things on him tummy till he feels better.

After the Dr. We went to lunch with Nana. We ended up going to the Sakura hibachi grill. They have a lunch special there, and it was YUMMY!! Wesley really enjoyed the show...

Ella ate almost her whole serving, she said it was YUMMY, but NO PICTURES!

She did enjoy watching the fish as we were waiting for the check.

Wesley sat by me and ate all my peas and carrots, some of my chicken and noodles too. He was hungry I guess.

We enjoyed spending time with Nana and having a nice lunch. Nana was glad to get out of the house. She hasn't been out much since her injury. Only 5 days till CRUISIN!

Mommy tickels the best!

Ella was not a laugher, I don't think I ever heard a laugh until she was over 2 years old. She would make a funny coughing/heh-heh type sound, but nothing a normal person would recognize as laughing. It made me sad, as I love big baby belly laughs. She has a great laugh now, but it took her a long while.
Wes has been laughing since he was just a few months old. He has a silly belly laugh that I just LOVE! He is also very ticklish. Especially under his chin and his ribs. I love to tickle my baby and make him giggle. I get better laughs out of him than anyone else, Mommy tickles the best!

Mad that I wouldn't let him hold the camera!

RV show!

Today Jon, Wesley and I went to the RV show at the VBC with my Dad. Mom got the virus the kids have had all week, and Ella wanted to stay home and play with Nana, so we let her. Wes was really well behaved and rode in the backpack most of the time. He did walk a little. It was fun to see all the different RV's and the different ways they can be set up. I only saw 1 or two that I liked enough to have, but since we aren't planning on buying one anytime soon that is ok. There were lots of neat fancy old-people big rigs and some teeny-tiny little pop ups with just a bed. After the show we went to Chili's to have a snack. Dad ordered us some appetizers. They were yummy. Jon was starting to feel sick too, so we didn't stay long. Now the boys are sleeping and Ella is playing nicely. We had a great day!

Studio and more

Today I was feeling antsy and wanted to do something. I couldn't take the kids anywhere, Wesley still has the runs, so I decided to take some studio portraits of the kids. Ella wanted to take one with Kitzel, and then she was DONE!
Photobucket
But I let her take a picture of me if she would let me take some of her, so she agreed to the tradeoff and I got some cute pictures.

After Wesley was done with his morning nap, I tried to get some of him... He WAS NOT INTERESTED!
Photobucket
Ella decided we should bribe him with food...
Photobucket
That worked some and we got a few shots off.

But then he decided that he was done too and ran away
Photobucket
So my photo session was only semi-successful! I had fun anyway, and it was nice to get some "portraits" instead of just pictures today. After the picture fiasco we went outside during the short non-raining portion of the day. Ella really wanted to ride her car, so I let her on the condition that she let Wes ride with her.

Wes LOVED it. Ella gave him a ride once, a LONG time ago so it was new to him. It was so cute to see him so happy to ride around with her.

Earlier today, I took some pictures of Wes in the bedroom and got some great shots of his Chompers. Ella kept looking in his mouth and exclaiming, "Look at his nice sharp teeth mommy!"

Only 7 days left until we leave for the cruise! I CANT WAIT!
