Water with friends

We had our friends over to play at Nana's house in her Water slide the other day.  It was a hot day, so it was nice for the kids to get to splash off and cool down and nice for the Mommies to sit in the shade and chat.

Pedicures!

Tuesday Mom took me and the kids out for pedicures.  I got hot pink, mom Red, Ella purple with a flower on her big toes and Wes got Green of course.  We had fun getting them done together.  I love hanging out with my mom!

Free movies and Pop Jets

One of our favorite Summer activites is going to the Monaco for Free summer movies and then eating a picnic lunch and playing in the pop jets afterwards.  It makes for a wonderful (mostly) free day!

Bowling Lessons

As part of Ella's birthday present of a Ball, shoes, and bowling bag, Nana got Ella some bowling lessons this summer as well.  She is doing a wonderful job and has learned so much from Ms. Amy.

Girls Camp first aid.

Wednesday we had our hands-on first aid lesson for Girls Camp certification.  I painted up the YCLs with various injuries and the rest of the kids had to diagnose what was wrong with them and tell us how to treat them.  I think the girls had a blast!  I sure had fun making all the injuries, and helping the girls.

Swimming pool

Earlier this week some friends had us over to swim in their pool.  The kids had a blast!  I am grateful to have such wonderful friends.
