James got to hang out with Grandpa today.

Tent building

Wesley got a tent building kit for Christmas.  you can make just about anything with it!  It is really cool.  We had fun building things today.

Wes is a little hesitant around James, but he sure loves his baby brother!

Play time!

James enjoyed some time playing on the floor today.  I am not sure if he was really trying to hit the toys, or was just baby-spazzing but it was cute anyway!

First day at Church

Today we took James to church for the first time.  We only stayed for Sacrament, since I still wasn't feeling well and neither was Jon, but Jamie sure looked cute in his Sunday outfit!

Car crash

Posts from Facebook on the day Jon was hit by a teen driver on his way to work.



Jon was in a car accident this morning on his way to work. From what i heard someone ran a red light and hit his car right in front of the drivers side door. He hit his head pretty hard. We are in the ER waiting to hear back from the cat scan. Evidently his car was completely totaled.

Just talked to the dr. Cat scan came back and he is fine, no bleeding on the brain and no fractures in his neck. He has a concussion and maybe whiplash. Thank you for your prayers! They are going to get him up and moving soon and we can go home in a little bit.

Just got back from the tow yard. I had to collect all our personal things from Jon's car so the insurance could tow it off to assess the damage. I am pretty sure they are going to total it. The damage was way worse than I had pictured, I am so glad that Jon escaped with only a concussion! Jon's guardian angel was certainly doing his job this morning.

presidents day

Jon had to go to work Friday after 3 snow days but got a nice long weekend with presidents day.  He came with Wesley and I to Gymnastics.

Snow day #3

Today we woke up to a winter wonderland that quickly started to melt.  We went on s family walk to CVS to get some medicine and Jon played outside with the big kids while mommy and James stayed cozy warm inside.  Ny late afternoon almost all the snow was gone, just the way i like it, enough snow to play in but gone before it gets ugly and gross.

Another day off

Today the city closed down because it was SUPPOSED to snow, a lot.  It ended up raining all day, lots and lots of rain.  Then, finally at around 4ish, the snow started but once it got started it really went to town.  The flakes were huge and it didn't take long before it all began to stick.  The kids (and jon) were thrilled because this much snow meant another snow day tomorrow too!
