Last Music Class

Today was James' last music class.  We are going to miss our music time each week!!  James loves singing the songs and dancing and playing the instruments and the piano.  Unfortunately the music school has some policies that I don't agree with so we won't be continuing.  I hope we can find a new class for him soon.

Easter!

The Easter Bunny Came!  This is James' first Easter that he can remember and he was quite happy with all the candy!

Easter Egg Hunting

Today was full of Easter Egg Hunting!  Today in Preschool James and his friends had an Easter egg hunt, he loved picking up all the eggs, he loved it even more when he discovered there was candy inside!  Later this evening the big kids and I biked over the dublin park so that they could participate in the glow-in-the-dark easter egg hunt.  They each collected dozens of eggs, so many we could hardly carry them home on our bikes!

Mommy's Day off

Today was absolutely amazing.  Today I got the day off.  Last year, for my birthday, Jon gave me a coupon for a "Day off" and Mom and Dad's present for me was to take me out for the day to do whatever I wanted.   Mom and I had such an amazing time, that when Jon asked me what I wanted for my birthday this year, I asked for another day off.  I didn't have to do a single mom related thing all day, and Mom and I have the BEST. DAY. EVER.

I tried to sleep in, but couldn't, so I read in bed for a while which was almost as good.  Then I got ready for the day, and picked up mom at around 8:45.  We drove down to Huntsville for our first stop, Krispie Kreme!  It wasn't originally supposed to be our first stop, but the "Hot" sign was on and we couldn't' help ourselves.  After we had our suger rush on, we went to Books a Million and shopped their discount book section.  There was great stuff there this time, and I bought way too many books.









After we finished at BAM we went down the street to Larry's Pawn and gun shop to shoot at the range there.  Mom bought a Laser sight for her 22 and then we shot up some targets.  I used a 22 rifle first, which was awesome, then I shot a pistol for a while.  I am not a terrible shot, and it was so fun to try out a new type of gun!  By the time we finished our range time, it was after 11, so we drove back to Madison to meet Jon and James at Sakura for lunch.  Hibachi time!  It has been over a year since we last ate here and it was delicious.
















After lunch, Jon took James home for his nap and it was Mani/Pedi time for Me and mom!  We both got spa pedicures and Gel nails.  i love the Gel nails, they are so cool, and last so long!  After our pampering, we drove to Bridgestreet to go shoe shopping for mom, but they didn't have what she wanted.  We made a quick stop at Chocolate Crocodile for some movie candy.   We were going to watch a movie at the Monaco, but nothing was starting any time soon so we went to the new recliner movie theater and watched Miracles from heaven and had popcorn.











The movie was pretty good, and when it was over, it was a bit too early to head to dinner so we stopped and looked around Ross.  We both tried on a bunch of stuff, but in the end i bought nothing and mom got 1 dress for her upcoming cruise.  Once we checked out, it was time to head to dinner.  We went to Applebees and had their appetizer samplers.  It was so much food, but delicious!  We both saved some room, because dessert was next, so we packed up our leftovers and dropped them off at home before heading to The Melting pot to meet some girlfriends for dessert.  We had a great time chatting with our friends and eating delicious chocolate!  My friend Nadja brought me an awesome gift, a Harry Potter neck pillow she made herself, I love it!  And Daddy surprised me during dessert, he dropped by on the way home from work to say hi, and he brought me roses.  It was so nice!  After we closed down the restaurant, we all parted ways and headed home.  i got home just before 11 and went straight to bed.  It was such an amazing day!  Thank you so much to Jon, mom and dad.
