Martin Luther King Jr. Day... Family fun

Today was MLKj day. Jon had the day off. It is so nice to have a job that gives us so many opportunities to spend time together as a family. Today we got stuff done, but still had time for an outing. This morning our home teacher came over and helped Jon fix our dishwasher. The outgoing hose was clogged. It didn't take them too long, and now I have a working dishwasher again! Woot! After Wesley's morning nap we decided to take advantage of this BEAUTIFUL SUNNY WARM day and go out and play. We decided to go to the new Creekwood playground. It is my favorite playground with lots of equipment, but also very open so you can see your kids even when they are on the other side of the park. It also has the benefit of being right next to a great walking path. Today, Wesley got to get down and wander at will (with one of us following) for the first time. He had a BLAST checking out the playground and all the fun things to do. Ella mostly just wanted to be left alone to play and explore, so I kept an eye on her from a distance. I decided to bring my big camera and take some nicer photo's for today's post. I don't have the inclination to carry around my work camera every day, but every once and a while it is fun to bring it out. After play time we decided to have lunch at subway. A nice healthy fast food lunch. I hope you all enjoyed your MLKj day today!
