It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.

It is another beautiful day in Alabama. The sun is shining and the temperature is up. We love "spring" type weather. We had a ton of stuff to do today, but when we went out to the car to get going we discovered that we forgot to switch out the car seats and Jon had taken them to work! Oooops! So no chores today, just hanging at home. On the up side, Wesley slept through the night last night for the first time since he started teething! He slept a full 13 hours! Weeeeee! Now that Wes is down for his morning nap, Ella decided that she was done playing with toys and wanted to head outside. We couldn't go to the park like she wanted, so we went in the back yard instead. First we played tag, then we played basketball together. Ella is Hi-larious when we play. If she misses the basket she says in a sad voice "Wa-Wa-Waaaaaaaaa" Like the type of sound effect you would hear in a silly movie when something goes wrong. When she makes the basket, she cheers and says "No wa-wa-wa-waaaaas!" It is too cute. She is pretty good at getting the ball in.

I love playing with my little girl... Wes too, but Ella is more fun right now.
