Bike ride

Today we went on a family bike ride on the greenway. We rode all the way to the playground and let the kids play for a while them rode back. It was the perfect weather for a bike ride.

Getting some sun

Today we took nana to the green way to walk a bit in the sun befor her PT appt. We didnt get far, but we had a nice time and james loved the slow pace because it left tons of time for throwing rocks and sticks in the creek. After dropped nana of at the Dr we drove to huntsville to deliver some pictures. The straight back to get nana and then it was time to go visiting teaching. Once we were done there we were both ready for naps. So we went home and slept untill the big kids got home. We had a quiet evening at home tonight. I am glad for the wekend! And monday is my annual birthday mommies day off! I am suuuuuper stoaked about that.

Regional science fair.

James and i spent the majority of today with nana working on craft stuff. We sold 3 easter baskets! We only got 2.5 done today but we still have time. Jon had a dr. Appt today so james and i had to pick the kids up from Chess club.  We had a quick dinner then we dropped the boys off at moms and headed over to the regional science fair. Elinor was 1 of 5 5th grade students chosen from her school science fair to participate. The judging happened earlier durong school hours and now it was time to pick up her board and see hiw she did. Unfortunately elinor didn't win a prize. She was bitterly disappointed . after consoling her we gathered her things and toook her out for ice cream befor going home. I hope she can understand that she still did a good job, even if she didnt win. Now its karate time befor bed.

Wednesday

Today we went to nanas house and got a ton of work done. We are getting ready for a craft show on April 8th so we are making some new stuff. We decided to make easter baskets. They are looking so cute! We also spent quite a long time watching the diggers again. In the evening i took elinor to UAH to set up her science fair project. Tomorrow she is partisipating in the regiona science fair.

Diggers are cool

Today they were working on digging up our street to fix the sewers. James is just FASCINATED by the digger trucks. It is almost impossible to get him into the car or house because. "Diggers mom!". We did make it to music class and chick fil a for lunch. But we did a lot of digger watching too.

Monday

Today was a good day. It started early when the digger outside started tearing out the road. They are repairing the sewer and they started the work today. It was LOUD. The noise shook the whole house. After we got meal planning and grocery list done we went down to nanas house and did some crafting befor we took nana to PT.  During PT we went grocery shopping and then picked up nana and took her to lunch at sams with us. The afternoon wa spent doing chores and dropping my car off to get new breaks. Now it is derby time. I hope tomorrow the sewer guys start a bit later.

Sunday

Today was quiet. Went to church, hung around the house and had dinner with nana and grandpa. The best kind of lazy day.
