Bryce Canyon and a Rodeo!

Last night I tried to take some pictures of the stars.  Capitol reef is a Dark Skies park so I thought it would be fun to try.  They didn't come out great, I guess I need more practice.

This morning we pack up, said good bye to our favorite campsite so far and the Dam Slide and headed over to Bryce canyon.  Bryce Canyon is famous for it's HooDoos, these tall tower like formations of rocks.  After we got camp set up we went to the little tourist town just outside the park.  Dad got us ice cream to cool off, and then we discovered that they had a rodeo in town.  Dad got us tickets to the rodeo and since there wasn't enough time to go back to camp and make dinner before the show, he also bought us dinner at one of the little restaurants there.  Dad also bought those of us who qualified tickets to go horseback riding in the morning!  The rodeo was cool.  Evvie loves cowboys (and girls) because of Wood and Jesse from Toy Story, so she was especially excited to see the show.  James was ready to give sheep and bull riding a try afterwards, he thought it would be cool to try!  After the Rodeo was over, it was late so we headed back to camp to get the kids into bed.
