Mountains and Kristys house

Today Jon and the older kids went up in the mountains with Jon's siblings and mother.  They did 4 wheeling, fishing and gun shooting.  It wasn't something Evvie or I really wanted to do, plus a day in the sun with no naps did not sound fun at all, so while they were out being adventures, we went down to layton and spent the 4th with my family at Kristy's.  Kristy took me out to sushi burrito (YUMM!!!) and we bought the stuff to make lime macarons.  We spent the afternoon baking, then having a cookout and doing fireworks.  Originally the rest of the fam thought they would be home around dinner time, but I didn't get the text that they were leaving the mountain untill after 8pm!  Evvie and I headed back to Lauras so we could meet them there.  When we were all home, we set off some fireworks and played with sparklers then put the kids to shower and bed.  After they were settled, Jon, livi and I went on a walk around the neighborhood to see all the fireworks being set off.  Because all the public shows were canceled, almost every house was setting them off.  We walked up the  hill to the school behind laura's house and enjoyed a 360* firework show.  It was really fun!
