Circus Circus... and I can FLY!

Today Dad took everyone but Mom and Evvie to Circus Circus Adventure dome.  Mom didn't want to go, and Evvie was too little for most of it so they had a nice relaxing day at the house while the rest of us lived it up!  First we had to grab our tickets.  The local Airforce base had discounted tickets for vets, but we had to go get them, so we drove down to the base and picked those up, then we went to see the cool "melting building".  After that, it was off to the adventure dome!

At the Dome, James was thrilled to discover that he was finally tall enough to ride the big rides!  He has been wanting to try a "real" roller coaster for a long long time.  So I took him on his first upside-down looping roller coaster, I was terrified the whole time that he was going to slip out of the restraints... but he didnt' and he loved it.  Not enough to go again... but enough to be glad he did it.  We all had fun riding the rides.  We split up into groups based on our ride preferences, and it worked out great.  After we were all worn out, we headed back to the house and I made dinner and put the kids to bed before heading out to FLY on the Freedmont street zip line!

Kristy decided to join me in my zip line adventure.  The Slotzilla zipline is 11 stories high, and 5 blocks long, right down the walking street.  We both paid a little extra to get gopros attached to our arms and get video of our ride. Dad and the big girls came with us to watch and see the nightlife.  Kristy and I got all suited up and waited for our turn. the zipline was AMAZING!!!!  Flying in the superman position was so cool, and the ride was so long and fast. I LOVED IT.  After our ride, we searched the street for dad and the girls, we finally found them at a restaurant getting some drinks.  It was an amazing time... but we didnt' get back till almost midnight and I am beat!
