Good bye Bryce Canyon, hello Grand Canyon!

This morning we packed up camp to get ready to go to the Grand Canyon.  Before we left Bryce though, we went up to a lookout over the whole canyon so we could get one last look at the hoodoos.  The canyon was beautiful in the morning light.  We spent the rest of the day driving to AZ.

We stopped at a little german bakery and got some DELICIOUS treats and then we stopped at a little tourist trap too.

Moqui cave is a little cave museum.  Some guy bought the cave a 100 years ago or so I think and turned it into a private museum.  He collected dinosaur footprints and bones from all over the world, and he loved rocks that glow under black light so he had a whole collection of those too.  The cave was also used as a bar and a music all back when tons of cowboy movies were being shot in the area.  It was a neat little place to walk around,

once we got to the grand canyon camp ground we got all set up and then we decided to head over to the canyon and try to see the sunset over the canyon.  We  got stopped on the road by a HUGE heard of Bison, they were so cool and had a ton of babies with them.  Because of the bison, we missed the sunset, but we still got to see the canyon and twilight and it was beautiful.
