Today we had plans to visit with another old friend of ours in the afternoon, so in the morning laura took us down to a big outdoor mall to walk around. We grabbed a specialty soda at "fizz" and watched a light and water show at the big fountain. Unfortunately due to covid, the stores didn't open as early as usual so we could only window shop. After we walked around for a while we went across the parking lot to a huge grocery store and laura bought us lunch at the deli, and then gelato too! We got home from our morning adventure just in time to pack up and go to Kates house. Evvie napped in the car on the way home from the mall, and then another 45 min in the car supervised by Einor while we got ready to go.
At kates house, we got to try authentic Salvadorian Papusas, which were amazing! Wesely especially loved them. Then we spent the afternoon talking and playing games. I took a few min to take some portraits of their little baby owen and all too soon it was time to head home. It was such a nice afternoon to see old friends!
