Presidents day

Today is presidents day so the kids and jon are home. Jon took the big kids for a hike first thing this morning on rainbow mountain. While they were gone, mom and i took james for a walk on the greenway. Then we went to joanns to look for patterns for kerris wedding dress. We got home at naptime and i spent thw rest of the afternoon hanging out with kerri on skype and desiging her wedding dress. I made a quick trip to Krogers so i could make dinner and now we are at derby. I love vacation days when i get to be with my family.

Sunday

Today was a good day. Church went really well and after we had lunch, put the baby to bed and visited with brother Soh, jon and i went out for a few hours pokehunting. We ended up all over town looking for new critters. It was so fun. Later we went to dinner at nana and grandpas and warched tv and talked to kerri on skype. Now the big kids are sleeping over at their house and it ia nice and quiet over here.

Chess

Despite it being a saturday, it was an early morning for me. Elinor decided to sign up for a chess tournament (her first one!) And we had to be there at 8:30.  I brought wes to watch and see what it was about to see if he might want to do one later. Ne was too nervous to sign up for this one. There was a lot of hurry up and wait. Elinor was an alternate on the team of 4 so she only played 2 of the 4 games. That was nice foe me because she was done at 11:30 instead of 4! She did very well for her first tournament she lost her first game, but won the second. I am so proud of her for tryinf this out!  After the tournament we went home and i fed the kids and put james down. The rest if the afternoon was spent lounging around the house and relaxing. I had a plan to take the family out to see Moana in the dollar theated, but evidently so did most of hsv because when we got there we were told that they had sold out! So that was sad. We went to the pet store and thw kids got fish and we got some claw covers for ninja because he has been hurting the other cats. Now i am ready for bed, it was a long day.

Friday half day

Today was a half day for the big kids at school.  They got out at 11 so mom and i decided to go on a pokewalk at bridgestreet befor we had to be home to get them. James found a long flexable stick and had a great time funning around with it and sticking it in the fountains and down the drains. After the kids got home we went to sams club to meet jon for lunch. Then we dropped james off at nanas house for nap and went to the park with our friends. I let the kids play as long as i could but eventually we had to go so i could get ready for work. It was my last day for madison gymnastics. I am glad to have a week off befor i go to the next gym. After dinner jon went out for a bike ride and i put the kids to bed. It had been a very good day.

MoPS

Today was a mops day! I love mops days. I started the morning doing paperwork then i went to moms house to work on some projects. We are making elinors ren fair dress and a cruise bag for mom. Then it was mops time! I had a great time hanging out with my friends. After mops i went back to moms for a while and worked more on the projects until it was time for gym pics. After we got the kids in bed jon and i went out pokemoning. Pokemon go released the next generation of pokemon today so we had a great time catching new creatures. We caught 16 new types tonight!

Wednesday at the gym

Today has been good. I went out with mom in the morning. We returned some shoes, and played pokemon then did some shopping. After james was down for his nap i got ready for my photoshoot and then went and did gym pics. After i was done i had to gobdown to huntsville to pick elinor up from derby. I got there just in time to see her last 3 jams. I just love watching her play.

Happy Valentine's day

Today was Valentine's day. And it was a pretty good one. I started the morning editing last nights pictures than james and i went down to moms and i helped her cut out a pattern then we all went together to James music class.  Class went great. James listened well and did a great job participating. After class we drove around poke hunting and went to bridgestreet for lunch. After lunch i put james to bed and finished my photography work befor heading back to the gym for picture time. I came home from work to a clean house, and fudge and a chocolate covered rice criapie treat from qhostle stop sweet shop. What a nice Valentine surprise. We fed the kids and put them to bed. Then jon and i went out for dinner andvnow it is time for bed. Even though i had to work... This was a good Valentine's day.
