Birthday parties and parades!

Today James got to go to his friend Elia's birthday party and after dinner, we walked down the street to watch the Christmas parade.  James loved catching the candy!

Can you believe it is still warm enough to play outside without jackets in December!  I love this about Alabama.

Putting up the tree

Because of our cruise we are a bit late in getting Christmas set up.  But tonight we finally got our tree and put it up.  We had to go to 3 stores to find a tree, the first two were sold out!  But we found a beautiful tree that fits perfectly in our bonus room.  James spent more time taking ornaments off the tree than putting them on, but we finally convinced him to leave them on.

Dentist

Today all the kids had Dentist appointments.  For James, it was his very first appointment.  He did a great job, he let the dentist look in his mouth, and didn't cry at all.  He was very excited to get his very own Turtle toy to take home with him.

Ginger bread house

Now that we are back from our cruise, it is time to bring a little Christmas into the house.  We decorated a Gingerbread house tonight for FHE and hung our stockings.

Cruise Vacation day 9 - going home

Today was  going home day.  we are sad to leave our ship and our friends.  Till next time!
