Fun last day

Today was the last day for us to spend with Chris and Kristy before they head back to Wisconson. Dad had a great afternoon planned. We went to the roller skating rink, then to a taco van. The skating was fun. Everyone but mom got on skates, even the boys! Wesley didn't like skating on his own much but he LOVED being held by Grandpa while he skated until the workers said he couldn't do that. Ella brought her own "slower" skates from home and she loved rolling around with the help of the grown ups. Brenna wore the faster rental skates and did pretty good for her first time. I had a blast skating with the kids and a little bit by myself. It was very fun. After the kids were worn out we stopped by Dad's "taco bus" a little taco joint he likes to go to. The kids thought it was cool to eat in a bus, although they were disappointed to find out that it wouldn't actually drive around as we ate. After lunch we headed back to Mom's and the grownups played one last game of Carcassonne together before dinner. After the kids and men were fed and the kids put in bed, Mom, Kristy and I went out for a girls night with my friend Amy. We went out to have dinner together at a fondue restaurant. It was very delicious and the company was great. What an awesome day!
