Wands

Over the past couple of weeks I have been carving wands to give as party favors at my birthday party. I love the way they turned out, and I had so much fun making them! To make things more interesting, Jon wrote some awesomely funny discriptions for each wand, and read them out in character as Fred Weasley at the party before we handed them out via drawing out names from a cup. I think they were a hit! The discriptions were even funnier in person, since "Fred" adlibbed quite a big. Also, for some strange reason, I didn't get a picture of one of my favorite wands... sad! Not sure how I missed it when I did the pictures?

Wand of Smores

Originally know as the Smurf wand, its previous owner abused it by using it as a skewer for miscellaneous purposes. Eventually the wand absorbed several objects with which it came in contact and integrated their properties into its magic. Now it seems this wand’s only use it to conjure up tasty treats.

Dagger wand

This wand was created as a makeshift replacement wand for a tri-wizard champion who’s wand was eaten by a giant black sand terminate. Good for both spell casting and poking things, this shows that wands can be crafted out of more than just tree branches. However any attempt to cast a lightning charm will only electrocute the wielder.

Material: Ebony and Steel

Length:

Core: Tri-wizard Champion Hair core

Special Uses: Good for poking

Wand of the Something

Believed to originate from an aborigines tribe of witches and wizards, the purpose of the creation of this wand are yet un-known. On occasion, rather than successfully casting an intended spell, a pink stuffed bunny will shoot from the tip of this wand.

Material: Dragon Oak

Length:

Core: Dragon Heart String

Special Uses: Good for entertaining small children.

Midget Wand of Betrayal

The core of this wand use to be phoenix tail feather but its previous owner thought it should have been dragon heart string. While attempting to replace it he was accidentally turned into a toad. Since the replacement was never finished, the wand’s core is half phoenix tail feather and half dragon heart string. (It continues – blah blah blah blah, “Extreemly dangerous” – blah blah blah blah “Use at your own peril!” So who wants it?)

Vine Wand

The previous owner of this wand was an obsessive gardener. Not satisfied with the assisted magical results of her wand, she tried to create a (h)erb-a-thrive potion by combining skele-grow spell with Miracle-Grow. There were no survivors. (I wonder what that means?)
