Tuesday: Horses, pizza, pictures and fishing.

Tuesday was a very busy day.  We started out with a morning appointment for horseback riding.  Hannah stayed with James while the rest of us went on a trail ride.  It was the first time on Horseback for my 2 kids, and they did great.  Wesley was really nervous, especially since they put him on first and led him away from the group to sit and wait.  But i got on after the kids and they let me wait next to him so he ended up being ok.  I think he actually liked it, at least a little.  The other kids had a blast and loved being up high on the horses.  Even Mom, who was nervous about getting on had fun.  The ride was pretty sedate, we never went faster than a walk, but it was a good pace for the kids.  I had so much fun, I love riding horses!




































After our ride, Dad took us all out for lunch at Mr. Gatti's.  It is a pizza buffet and arcade.  The pizza wasn't as good as the last time we went there, but it was still ok.  Dad had to run to wal-mart for a min before our next appointment so he got the kids cards for the Arcade.  Even the big kids got to play a little.









After lunch we had an appointment to have an "old-time" photo taken.  Mom had gotten a groupon earlier this year for 10 people.  That left James and Hannah out again, but they were ok just watching.  We all got dressed up in costumes and had pictures taken in the parlor.  It was super fun.  Dad ended up buying the disc so we got to keep all the pictures we took.  I only wish we had taken more!  I don't have all the pictures on this computer, so I will try to update later with the rest.








Finally, after pictures were done and paid for, we went to a local park that has a "kid stream" for fishing.  Only kids under 12 are aloud to fish there and it was a great chance for the kids to try out the fishing poles they had gotten for free a few weeks ago at an expo.  None of the kids had ever fished before but they all caught on pretty quick to the mechanics of casting.  No one caught anything, but I think they had fun.  When they got bored of fishing they played int he water for a bit.  Ella was our last hold out and she was determined to catch a fish.  We had to drag her away from the river since everyone was ready to go, so I hope Jon will take her another time so she can catch a fish.
