Fourth of July

Today started of with a BANG!  We went over to Mom and Dad's house for a fourth of July celebration, while the kids were playing in the pool, Wesley jumped off the ladder and hit his chin on the edge of the pool busting it open.  As soon as a got a look at the cut, I knew we would be headed to the ER for the second time this week.  Just as I thought, it required stitches.  He ended up with 4 stitches.  He took it very well.  He was scared of the idea but once they put the numbing cream on and got started he realized it wasn't that bad after all.  After we got back, our friends the Moores had arrived for dinner and we enjoyed a nice picnic and fireworks in the park.
