Back to MOPS

Today was our first day back at MOPS after the summer break. We missed the first meeting while we were in Florida, and we almost missed today's meeting. I had totally forgotten until late this morning. Luckily I remembered in enough time for us to go. The kids did great today. Usually Wes cries the whole time and Ella whines when I drop her off. Today Ella went to class with no complaints and according to Wes's teachers he only cried a min or so after I left. That was a weight off my mind! The meeting was very... interesting today, very VERY preachy. I am not exactally sure what the topic was supposed to be, but the lady talked A LOT about being pro life and the only way you can be pro life is her way and how she uses no birth control and no one else should either. And that the only book on parenting we need or should ever use is the Bible. I was a little taken aback at how preachy it was today. She also spent quite a while soliciting volunteers for her "pregnancy testing center" to "minister and witness" to the young mothers who come in. the ladies in my new group are nice and we enjoyed talking while we ate lunch. After MOPS we came home for naps and I watched Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix while I cleaned the house. I am currently reading and watching my way through the entire series (for the umpteenth time) so that when the first half of Deathly Hallows comes out in a month or two I will be all caught up and ready to watch it. I finished tOotP last night so it was time to watch the movie. Ella watched part of it with me but MAN she asks WAY too many questions. After dinner I let Ella play computer and Wes climbed up to watch her. He likes to bug her while she plays... just like ella likes to bug me when I play!
