Fun with Friends

Today Damon and Andrea have to head back to Memphis, but we had a half day with them to have fun.  We started off the day with a photoshoot for their family.  The kids did great for the shoot, and we got some awesome pictures!  After the shoot, we decided to take the kids to play in the fountains at bridgestreet and then go to lunch before sending them off.  Elinor decided to so roller skating with mom and dad, and Jonas decided to stick with us.  We had fun getting wet and playing with the kids.  Laura and Andrea didn't want to get wet, so they watched us and looked after our stuff while we played.  Damon broke his shoe, so they decided to head over to old navy to replace it.  They discovered a great sale was going on, so after we were done playing, we went over and looked for some new dry clothes.  Jon and Damon got matching shirts, and since Damon was borrowing Jon's swim trunks, they were wearing matching clothes and played it up as we walked down to Red Robin for lunch.  We had a rootbeer float drinking contest (which the boys one by 1/2 a float).  After lunch, the Hall's had to had back to TN so we said good bye.  thankfully, it won't be 3 year until we see them again.  We are going on a couples cruise in NOV so we will see them in just a few months.  Such a great visit!  Now to pack up for our Florida vacation, we are leaving bright and early tomorrow.
