Day 3 at the beach

Today was the mid-point of our trip to the beach.  Elinor and Nana started out with another sunrise walk on the beach. Nana and I snuck down to the beach a bit later to practice our Karate before it got too Hot.  We have a test coming up and we needed the review.  It was nice to do it on the beach.  I took James to the beach later in the morning, and then to the pool.  He had so much fun playing with Grandma May in the pool.  He is really loving all the time in the water.  This afternoon was a special treat.  Dad chartered a fishing boat for the Grownups to go catch some dinner.  Since the boat only held 6 people and someone had to stay with the kids, I offered to be the nanny for the evening and hang out with the littles while everyone else went fishing  The fishing trip wasn't very successful.  I think they only caught 2 fish that were good for eating/big enough, but everyone caught at least one fish so they had fun.  While they were all out on the boat, I walked with the kids over to BJ's for some pizza, then we came home and everyone had a nice good shower.  Once they were all Pajamaed up, I played a game of Yatzee! Jr. with them and got them to bed on time for the first time on our trip.  It was very nice to have the whole house to myself for the evening.  So quiet! It was another fantastic day at the beach.
