I started off the day in pretty bad shape. My right arm and hand was severely swollen so I ended up at the Dr's to get it checked out. They were worried about a possible blood clot so I got sent to the hospital for an ultrasound. Luckily, after waiting around for hours we found out that there was no clot, or if there had been one, it resolved itself. I was reprimanded for doing so much sanding and painting and was told the swelling was probably caused by overuse and carpal tunnel. So, no more painting for me! After Jon and I finally got home from the hospital, we found that Dad has spent the day much more productively and had hung the rest of the crown molding in the bedroom and done all the baseboards. He also hung all but the last of the cabinets in the laundry room. Jon was there just in time to help him hang the last one and get one of the mirrored medicine cabinets up in the bathroom. After it was up, Jon hung the new curtains I had got for the room. I got them extra long so we could create the illusion that the windows were all the same height. They look great! I can't wait to move in, we are so close!
