Quiet time=more pictures

Today is Jon's day off so he took Ella to Dublin park to play since it was nice and warm.
It was nice and quiet here so I took advantage of it and set up a mini shoot for Wesley. I have wanted to try this shot with my old fashioned baby scale for a while. I meant to bring it to my last newborn shoot but forgot it at home, then with Wesley's newborn shoot, I forgot to bring it out. So I decided that even if the weight would be completely off from birth, I would try my shot anyway. It didn't come out the way I saw it in my mind, so I may have to try again.

Wesley was WIDE AWAKE for the whole shoot despite the fact that I nursed him right before so he would be sleepy and poseable.

My Mom's friend Jutta gave Ella this power wheels dune buggy, now we just have to get a battery and a charger and we are in business. Ella is VERY VERY excited about this new toy.

Today is so pretty and sunny so Ella and I took Wesley outside to try to get some good pictures. I really wanted to get some open-eyed pictures so that we could get a better idea of what color his eyes are but he just wanted to sleep. He was cute though!

Few words, lots of pictures

We have been doing pretty good over here. Wesley is sleeping ok at night (2-3 hours at a time) and I am healing well. It is getting easier to go up and down the stairs and get things done. My house is still a complete mess though. I am so tired that I am using all my normal "get stuff done" time for sleeping. When Ella naps (if I can get Wesley to cooperate!) and after I put Ella to bed. Usually I would get my cleaning done then, but now it is off to bed at 9 for me, and a little nap in the afternoon.
I am getting a little cabin fever! I want it to be warm so that we can get outside!
