New Cat

A Facebook friend of mine needed to rehome their 1.5 year old male cat because of issues with their other cat. Since Kitzel is home alone a lot, I thought he might like a friend so for the weekend we are doing a trial with "pepper" to see if he fits in with our family. I went and picked him up today and so far so good I guess. We put him in the downstairs bathroom first since it has the litter box and food. Then we opened the door and gave him a few min to settle down. Then we brought in Kitzel. He growled and hissed at pepper then ran away. Pepper is currently hiding in the bathroom. I hope this weekend goes well.
