On the way to Universal

Today we began our Harry Potter adventure.  We got the kids off to school, loaded up the car, got Jamie settled with Grandpa and then hit the road.  It is a long drive down to Orlando, about 10.5 hours without stops, and we tried to stop as little as possible.  We left at about 9am and got there around 9:30 so not too bad when you consider the hour we lost by switching to eastern time.  At the hotel we checked in, lugged our bags up to our room and grabbed some dinner at their food court. We stayed at the Cabana Bay beach resort which is a new on-site hotel done in a retro future style, way cool.  We were all exhausted by our day in the car, and excited for Harry Potter world so we went to bed early.
