Cutting down the tree

Today Dad too Ella, Wesley and I to the Arsenal to cut down a Christmas tree.  They have a wooded area where you can cut down any tree you like and bring it home for free.  It was close to dark when we got there, and we had a hard time finding a tree that we liked.  None of them were remotely Christmas tree shaped, so we finally picked one that was just about the right size for our bonus room.  Dad started cutting it down with a hand saw, but some nice guys with an electric saw came around and let us borrow it to cut down our tree.  Wes was a bit disappointed that he didn't get to make the tree go "Timber!" but he got over it.  We dragged the tree back to the car, and drove it home.  We left it in the car for the night as it was pitch black by the time we got home.
