10 months!

Today we took James' 10 month pictures.  He is growing so fast!  He started walking in his 10th month and gets more confidant everyday.   He really is the best baby I have ever met.

Bunny's favorite place at home is on Dad's lap, but today Jamie fell asleep on Dads lap and took up the whole thing. That didn't stop Bunny though, he just wormed his way in.  James didn't mind his furry blanket, it was so cute!

Christmas!

Christmas was awesome!  We started out the morning with presents at our house.  the kids loved everything they got, James was quite confused about the whole process but liked ripping the paper and trying to take the big kids presents.  After all the gifts were open we let them change into their new Christmas Jammies and we walked down to Nana and Granpa's house.  I made the kids let me in first, since I knew that Mom and Dad had gotten them bikes for christmas, so I was there to take their awesome reaction pictures when they saw the presents.  As usual there was a mountain of gifts!  After the bikes were moved out of the way, the kids helped me hand out the presents and the fun began.  Dad had spent a bunch of time helping Elinor and Wesley make Jon and I gifts.  I got a cute little wooden box with a picture of Wesley on it from Wes and an amazing carved plaque from Elinor.  Dad had helped Ella carve the poem from my favorite picture book on a piece of wood and then surrounded it with pictures of the two of us, it was amazing!  Elinor also made a knife for Jon and Wesley put together a 3d dinosaur puzzle and painted it gold for Jon.  It was so nice of dad to help the kids make us something special!  Presents took a good long while, then mom and I made breakfast.  The kids were super excited to try out their bikes and they spent an hour or so riding around while we got things cleaned up and ready to eat.  We spent the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying each other's company.  It was a fantastic Christmas!!
