Frist center for the arts

Today while Jon was in his meetings James and I drove to downtown Nashville to go to the Frist center of the arts.  They only had one exhibit open, but it was decent.  A bit too much modern art for me, but James liked the bright colors.  The highlight was the upstairs, they had an interactive art room where you could try all different kinds of arts.  They had figure drawing, still life, water colors, print making, animation, etching and lots more.  It was pretty empty in there and we got to try all kinds of stuff.  Jame's favorite was the magnet wall with shapes, and a computer screen where you could draw in kalidascopes.  I don't have any pictures from the inside because cameras arn't allowed in the musuem.  After we were done being inside we went out and walked around looking at all the fantastic churches.  It was quite cold out so we didn't stay for long.  We went back to the hotel for james to take a nap.  When Jon was done with his meetings we took him over to the Atrium since he didn't get to go yesterday with us.  We ended up the day with dinner where Jon had a big plate of seafood and I had a giant steak.  What a fun vacation day!
