Halloween!

Today was Halloween, it was FREEZING.  We didn't take any pictures because it wasCOLD COLD COLD.  We decided to go to the Skate park to their halloween festivities.  They had a costume contest, and Jon won!  I will post pictures of  Jon once I get them taken, he looked amazing!  He won a $50 gift card.  After we froze our little tushies off, Jon and James went home while I took the kids Trick-or-treating.  We got tons of candy.  it was a good Halloween, even though it was too cold.

today was nerd day during spirit week, Elinor was an adorable nerd.

Family pictures!

Today I got the clothes for our family portraits and I dragged the family out to do some pictures.  i love the clothes i got, and the poses but the remote trigger didn't do a great job at focusing so I am going to have to force my family to go get them done again.

Gymnastics and Pumpkin Tournament!

Today was a busy day, First Wesley had his gymnastics class and then Elinor had a mini tournament at Karate.  It was their annual Halloween tournament where instead of trophies you get pumpkins!  Elinor got 3rd in Kata's and won Sparring 8-1.

Pumpkins!

While I was in Nashville, Mom took Wesley on his first kindergarten field trip.  They went to Tates farm and I hear they had a wonderful time.  Tonight for family home evening, we carved the pumpkins that they brought home.  Each of the big kids got pared with a grownup and designed a face then cut it out.  I can't wait for halloween!

Cloud Strife!

Wesley got his chance at a halloween photoshoot.  His hair is my favorite part of his costume!  His character is from Final Fantasy 7, one of Jon's favorite games.

Chun Li!

This year Elinor is being Chun Li from the Streetfighter video games for Halloween.  Today her costume is finally finished and I did a little photoshoot with her.  Wesley dressed up as another character from the game just for this shoot, Ryu.  We had so much fun until we were kicked out of the alleyway by a hoard of prom people wanting to take pictures.
