Happy birthday to me!

Yesterday was my birthday. It turned out to be a very nice day. I spent the morning with my grandparents in Kentucky, then the middle of the day driving back home. Once we got home, I unpacked and read my book while the kids fought/played and then Dad took us out to dinner. We went to a asian resteraunt and had dinner. It was delicious! Dad got us some doughnuts at the end, mom was supposed to bring a candle to light, but she forgot. The doughnuts were good though! After dinner Jon and I took the kids shopping for my birthday present. I have wanted a bow and to learn archery for a long time, and Jon was going to buy me one for my birthday, but none of the sporting goods stores in town had an adult recurve bow for sale, so we went home to search online. At 8, after the kids were in bed, I went to Mom's house to get her to go out for a girls night with my friends. When I got there I discovered that Dad had bought me a pie, a cannoli, some cookies and my favorite kind of chips all covered with candles for me to blow out! It is way to much Junk food, but All stuff I love. Then mom and I went to the Melting pot and met my friends Sharon and Hope for dessert. WE had a great time eating and talking and ended up staying until 11pm! It was a wonderful ending to a nice birthday!
