Thursday at Kristy's house

Our first full day in Wisconsin the kids thought it would be a great idea to get up at 5:45. (fyi, it is NOT a good idea).  So we were all up bright and early.  Kristy took Jonas off to the hospital to get his radiation treatment and Mom and I stayed home to feed the rest of the kids breakfast and get them ready for the day.  The kids were really well behaved and we had a nice morning.  When Kristy and Jonas got home, mom took everyone to the movie theater to see "Madagascar 3".  The kids loved the movie, there was lots of laughter and smiles from them all.  I was actually a pretty cute movie and I think the grownups enjoyed it too.  After the movie we headed home to have lunch and play in the yard.  I went out with the kids and ran relay races and wheel barrow races and other fun stuff and we had a good time.  Jonas got tired after a while so I carried him around so he could still race.  After we were all worn out (or at least I was!) we came back inside and met one of Kristy's friends.  She is a hair stylest and had come over to give brenna and Kristy a haircut.  She was also kind enough to give Wes a cut and Ella a trim.  Wes was so funny!  He has always been well behaved at haircuts and enjoys having them done but yesterday was a whole other matter!  He started out all smiles and happyness and then in the middle of getting the sides cut with the clipper he slowly closed his eyes.  Then, plop, his chin hit his chest and he was OUT.  He fell asleep in the middle of his haircut!  He was so tired that he slept through the rest of his cut as I held his head up and then after he was done, he slept an hour and a half more in bed.  He must have been tired!  After all the hair cutting was done, we went out to dinner at Applebees.  After we put the kids to  bed, Mom, Kristy, Chris and I played a fun board game before heading to bed ourselves.  It was a nice, fun day with family.
