Georgia Ren Fair fun!

Ok, let me preface this post by saying that I HATE BLOGGER! I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get my pictures to show up in the order I want them to! No matter how I upload them, blogger just adds them in its own bizarre order and I can't put together a photo story if the pictures are all mixed up! Then, when I try to reorder the pictures once they are inserted, they either duplicate themselves, or delete themselves. Plus they are so HUGE that you can only move them down one spot at a time!!!!AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG! (can you tell I am frustraited?) any of you blogger divas know how to solve this problem? am I doing it wrong? What I am doing is pressing the picture button and then uploading 5 images at a time. if you have an idea for me on how to fix this, please let me know.
For now, you will just get a jumbled up version of our day at the Georgia ren fair.
WE had a BLAST!!!!

This is Sid the dragon. Ella was thrilled to meet a dragon who TALKED to her!

Mother goose was also a hit and Ella was happy to give the bird a hug.

This is a highlight of Ella's day, she got to ride a griffon!

Getting ready to ride

waiting her turn, (see I TOLD you they were all out of order! grrr)

Stopping to have a lunch break. Fried Mac'n'cheese, french fries, turkey leg and a GIANT chili cheese dog, H-E-A-T-H-L-Y

Grandpa bought the girls FAIRY WINGS! Ella spend most of our walking time skipping along singing Fly, Fly, Fly! to herself.

Awesome juggler show.

Welsey obviously enjoying the fair.

Ella also enjoying the show. :)

Wesley gets his picture drawn... do you see a resemblence?

Ah, a picture so totally out of order it is crazy! Ridding the griffon picture #2

Ella as a pretty in pink princess and her cousin Brenna as a knight.

Wesley enjoying the sunshine

Playground break! The shows got a little boreing for the girls, so we stopped here to get the wiggles out.

These pictures are from the awesome juggler show I commented on earler...(stupid blogger) Grandpa got the girls a snow cone to share. Ella didn't want to share the spork, and brenna didn't care as long as she got some so, one for Ella

and one for brenna!

My sister and I engaged in a pillow fight. The girls started chanting "Go mommy Go!" and some pirates stopped by to watch and chanted along. After a long few minutes of noone getting knocked off the log, the pirates started chanting "cheat! Cheat to win!" So we started cheating by pushing instead of pillowfighting...

Obviously I am a better cheater! "Who me?" I won the bout, 3 to nothing.

They had a little petting zoo, Ella really enjoyed feeding the ducks

and the sheep!

Wesley joined the court as a jester

Ella, who could not even be bribed to get anywhere neer the queen or princess, walked right up to the black knight and gave him a hug. My kid has strange taste!

Ella enjoying the black knight, Brenna isn't so sure!

Ella got to ride in a pirate ship swing when Brenna went through the maze with her dad.

At the kids pavillion the girls met the "town liar" who dubbed them fairy princesses!

a piece of bread for a sword, do you think that will hold up in a court of law?

We went tot he joust at the end of the day, it ENDED in a fist fight, but here thepicture is first. (grumble grumble stupid blogger)

Befor the fist fight, they locked swords

and befor that was the JOUST!

The black knight won the joust but lost the compititon when the good knight slit his throat.

This is one of my favorite pictures ofthe day. I took Wesley to see the king and get his "blessing". When we got there the king was excited to see a Boy Child and offered to adopt him to be his heir. When he asked Wes if he wanted to be a prince, Wes smiled and petted his beard. The king really likes babies and talked to wes for a couple of min. Wes almost decided to leave me for the promise of king hood but then he got hungry and came back to mama.

All in all it was an awesome day and I had a blast!

  1. Looks like an awesome day even if they are out of order. My only suggestion with blogger would be venturing into the world of "edit:html" If you click on that it puts the picture into code and sometimes it works moving things around. Only thing is you have to speak-a-da-language. Which I don't so it was trial by error. So sorry for a book today. Must be the weather.....

  2. I agree with Karen... Lately blogger has been NOT letting me click and move the pics. So, I go to Edit-HTML, then cut and paste each img code to where I want it.

    Looks like LOADS of fun!!!!

  4. That looks like such a blast! Do they do this every year? I would love to take the kids!

I enjoyed seeing the pics....even if out of story order! :) The last pic was so sweet and the story behind it as well!

IF you would like some help I could come over and show you what I have figured out with the pictures...it is harder for me to explain through writing without it being a novel. ;)
