Today elinor had an away game for derby. It was in rome georgia, about 2.5 hours away. Unfortunately it was also at 9am in the morning so we had to head out really really really early. We had invited elinors teammate and friend lilli to join us for the trip. She arrived at the house at 5am. We were all in the car and on our way by 5:15. We made it to Rome just in time to check in. Elinor got geared up and an hour later it was derby time. The girls played hard, but we ended up loosing by about 15 points. The younger girls didnt get to play as much as they would have liked, but they did awesome when they were up. After the game we went to the after party at Fuddruckers. The girls had a good time bonding with their teammates then it was time to head home. I was BEAT by the time we got home. It was a long day. But i still have to finish primary so no rest for the weary.
