A very busy Saturday

Today was an incredibly busy day.  It started with our across the street neighbor Dock's 2nd birthday party.  It was at a local park, and the kids had a blast.  James loved the slide, but his favorite part was Dock's new water table!  He played with that for basically the whole time.  After Dock's part we went home so James could grab a nap.  Once he woke up, we decided to check out the Grand opening of a brand new entertainment complex.  It has been under construction for at least as long as we have lived here (9+ years) and finally today it opens.  It is only about a mile or so away, and since we knew it would be crowded, and we could, we decided to walk over there instead of drive. Mom and Dad decided to go with us.  It has a HUGE climbing wall. an amazing looking roller skating rink, an arcade, snack bar and a roller hockey rink.  They also have an area that will eventually be a laser tag place, but isn't open yet.  It was really fun to walk around the area and finally see what it looked like on the inside!  outside of the building they were having a little fair thing, with booths selling stuff and food trucks.  Dad got us some corn on the cob and ribs, and Jon had some russian food.  Once we had seen everything we wanted to, we walked back home.  We passed Jack's on the way and we stopped and Dad bought us some milkshakes/ice cream cones.  Once we made it home, we were all hot and sticky so we jumped into the pool.  It was a wonderful, fun, family filled day!
