A month or so ago, I found a lump on the left side of my face/neck. After ultrasounds, biopsies and other tests we found out it was a benign fast-growing tumor that could possibly turn to cancer if left alone, so we decided to have it removed ASAP. It had grown around the main branch of the facial nerve that goes to the lower half of my face, there was a possibility that the surgery could paralyze my face, but the risk was worth it. Everything went well, and the surgery was successful. The Surgeon had to cut the nerve leading to my ear, so now my ear and the area around it is numb, but much better than my face!
Here is a picture of my cool new scar!
