Baby quilt!

Some of my favorite people are having a baby!  Today I got to go to their baby shower.  Tiffany is a huge Alabama football fan, and Daniel is an actual ninja (and my karate teacher) so I combined the two to make a Alabama ninja quilt.  I think they liked it!

Igloo in the daylight

Today I went out to take some pictures of Jon's finished Igloo in the day light.  It was a good thing I did that so early, as it was 1/2 melted by the late afternoon!

First lost tooth!

Today Wesley lost his first tooth!  He was so very excited.  I think he looks so cute!

Snow, lots and lots of snow

Today the snow REALLY started coming down. They canceled school, and work, but the snow didn't start until the afternoon.  Once it did start thought, it really came down!  The snow fell wet, heavy and thick.  The kids and Jon had a fantastic time playing in the snow.  Jon decided to build an igloo.  The kids help at first but then it was getting late so I sent them to bed.  Jon didn't finish until after 10:30 at night, but it looked amazing!  I am very impressed with his igloo building skills.

Stuck.

Today was the last day of my 2 week long Gymnastics photo-shoot.  Unfortunately, it was not a very good day weather-wise.  It was forecasted to snow a lot, for Alabama at least, and I wasn't sure if I should go in, but when I called, they said they were open and I should head over.  It took me 1.5 hours to get to the studio, it usually takes about 20 min.  Then once I got there, they said noone had shown up for classes, and that I should just head home, so I planned to come back next Friday for a make up day, packed up, and headed out.  unfortunately by that time the roads were really awful. and my trip home took me just over 3 hours.  It was sucky.  I was so tired by the time I got home, i am just glad that I got home safely.

Everybody loves the baby

How can you not love this little bundle of joy?  James is such a sweet, loving baby, we love having him as part of our family!  Even when he is messing up their games, the big kids are happy to have him around.

Snow.....

It is no secret that I hate snow.  I don't like the cold, and I was so disappointed to see snow, but the kids sure were excited!
