Georgia Renn fair!

I LOVE Ren fairs!  This year, Dad took us to the fair while Mom is in New Zealand with Kerri.  We left on Friday afternoon and picked up Jon from work.  Then we all drove together to Atlanta.  We got to the hotel around bedtime so we put the kids to bed, and then Jon and I went down to the hot tub for a while before going to bed ourselves.  In the morning, we went swimming, then had breakfast at the hotel before getting costumed up and heading to the fair.  We got there a few min after opening and headed right to "Barely Balanced" our favorite show at the fair.  Ella volunteered to help "warm up" the act and got chosen to go on stage.  She got to show off her armpits to make the crowd cheer, and then got picked up by Small and Large and spun around in circles.  She was so excited to be picked!  We went later to the fire whip show and Ella got picked to go on stage again.  She got to pop a balloon and talk with the whip guy.  We had fun the rest of the day, watching shows, eating food, playing games and enjoying time together.  Jon and I got to fence each other.  He won, 3 to 5, but it we were sparring, I think I could have taken him.  I really liked the scottish band that had belly dancers.  They were a special guest act for the day.  I really covet all the fantastic costumes they have for sale there.  I wish I had $1000 to spend on getting one for me!  I had a fantastic day.  After we were done at the fair, we got in the car and drove home.  It was a wonderful mini vacation!
