Hair dye and grocery shopping

Today i died moms hair for her, blue and red. Elinor also got a blue streak in her hair. She was so excited that daddy let her do it. After their hair was done i took the kids out to grocery shop and to have lunch with daddy.

Sunday

Today primary went really well. I played primary program battleship and we sang a bunch of songs. The kids did so well! Mom and dad invited some former YSAs who are now married to dinner. It was nice to see them and catch up.

Pedicures!

Today Jon and I went out early to go pokemoning, and then Jon was going to take the big kids on a bike ride so James and I went out shopping with Nana.  When we got home we discovered that Wesley's bike is missing and he stayed home instead of going on the bike ride.  Once Jon and Elinor got home, Jon watched the boys and Nana took me and Elinor out for pedicures.  My toes look so pretty!

Goodbye Kugler family!

Today we woke up to a huge storm.  The whole City was so sad the Kuglers were leaving that even the sky cried for them.  My kids were all super sad to have their cousins go.  Too bad they couldn't stay longer this time!  Elinor wanted to buy Brenna a treat so I drove them over to Dollar General and she bought her a giant Candy bar for the road.  We hung out while they got all packed up and then we sent them on their way.  So sad our visit is over.

Bowling

Today is our last day with the Kuglers.  We had so many things we wanted to do with them and didn't get around to half it feels like!  Today we started off with a sort walk on the greenway.  Just me, mom and Kristy since the kids are party poopers and didn't want to come.  When we got back home, it was time to go to Bowling!  Everyone went this time, although not everyone actually bowled.  Nana bought us pizza for lunch too, which was awesome.  After bowling Mom wanted to take the Kuglers to the Botanical gardens, but I wasn't feeling well and Wesley didn't want to go so I took my boys home instead.  Ella decided to go to the gardens.  After they got home they were burning up so we all jumped into the pool at Nana's.  It was cold, but felt good in the heat.  James showed off his swimming to me and nana.  The grown up girls finished the evening with a girls night out at the Vietnamese restaurant and our friend Amy.  Such a nice last day, we are going to miss the Kuglers.

Last day of swimming lessons

Today was the last day of swimming lessons for the kids. Stephen let them play pool games (that used their new skills) for the entire time. They loved it. After swimming we met mom and kristy for 2 pokemon legendary raids. I managed to catch both of them, woohoo! Then since it was SOOOO HOT we took the kids to chick fil a for lunch and stayed for a few hours so they could play in the air conditioning. In the evening brenna came with elinor and me to derby to watch scrimmage. Tomorrow is the kuglers last day with us. Sad.

Splash pad, dinner and a movie

Today we went to swim lessons, i am so happy with the progress all three boys have made this summer. The teacher spent James' entrie lesson trying to get him to breathe while swimming. James can swim fast and far under water, but onlu as far as he can hold his breath. We want him to come up for air and then continue swimming. The teacher tried EVERYTHING but no luck. The boy can hold his breath a long long time though.

After swimming we picked up a redbox movie for the kids and made them lunch befor heading out to do some pokemoning together. When their movie was done we got them all into their swimsuits and took them to the splash pad to play for a while. We picked up pizza on the way home for their dinner, got them setteled at home and then headed out for a date night.

Dad took us out to 4 seasons for dinner and then to see "valarian" a scifi movie. It was pretty good.

Monday madness

Well turns out i didnt take a single picture all day.  Ooops! Today we found out swimming lessons were canceled... While we were at swimming lessons! Then we went shopping and pokemoning. That is about all i did today.

Sunday with geodes

Today after dinner the kids all broke open the geodes that grandpa bought them up in ky. They all had pretty good ones! The girls also hooked upa tv in the playhouse and enjoyed the renovations grandpa had made there, air conditioning, lights and new walls and floors.

Heading home and the frist museum

This morning we got up and packed and headed out towards home. We stopped in Nashville to explore the Friat art museum and eat at sushi train again. The museum was juat as awesome as i remembered it. The downstaira had some interesting piecea and upstairs in the kids area, we all got to play with art. I made a carving print, water colors, clay sculpture and more. The boys spent most of the time making stop motion videos. James fell in LOVE with the make our own digital kaleidoscope computer and spent almost all the time there. It was so fun to make art together. After the museum we all had more sushi and then went home. I am exhausted! Such a fun trip.
