Shooting range

Today Mom took Kristy, Brenna and Elinor to the shooting range for their first time to learn how to shoot guns.  Elinor has been wanting to go for a while, and she loved every minute of it!  Brenna was scared at first, but eventually she gave it a try.  Kristy was pretty neutral about it, but Elinor can't wait to go back.  She especially liked shooting the .22 riffel at Barney.  She is a pretty good shot too!

Walking down to Nana's house can be too much work, unless you can catch a ride.

Bowling with Nana

Today we went with Nana to the bowling alley.  James did pretty good in his baby cage, especially when the boys jumped in to play with him.

Sub Zero and a hair cut

Today Kristy and I took the kids to subzero, they had lots of fun making their own ice cream.  Later I took the boys for haircuts, Jamie had his first haircut and did pretty good sitting still.  He looks so cute!

First James was fascinated by the cat playing on his cat tree.  Then the Cat was Fascinated by Jamie playing with a empty container.

Family fun fest at the YMCA

Today Kristy and I took the big kids over to the YMCA to a "fun fest" they were having.  Lots of booths, little activities for the kids, and rescue trucks.  The kids favorite part was collecting all the "swag" from the booths.  Brenna was in Magpie heaven collecting hand sanitizer, pens, pencils, bags, candy and anything else that wasn't nailed down.  They all came home with giant bags of loot.

Talent Show!

Today the girls put on a talent show for the family.  Elinor was the MC and did a puppet show, Brenna did a Magic act and helped with the puppets.  Jonas told Jokes, Wesley did tricks on the Rope swing, Kristy told a story, Jon did contact juggling and Nana made snacks.  James stole the mic to make loud noises, so I guess that was his talent.  It was lots of fun to watch the kids, and the girls put a lot of work into organizing it.

New game

The big kids made up a new game to play with Jamie.  They all climbed the walls in Nana's hallway, then tried to stay up while James ran under.  They only fell on him a few times.  They all had great fun.  Jamie couldn't stop laughing!
