This morning we all slept in a little till 7am i think! Then we ate breakfast and packed up to drive the last little bit to Yellowstone. Before we left the campground, I took the kids down to the river and let them play a bit. It was cold, but they had fun wading and throwing rocks.
We arrived in yellow stone after about an hour of driving but we still had another hour or so till we arrived at our campground. On the way we saw a bear and her cub, and buffalo.
At the campsite we discovered that our campsites were not next to each other, but close by so we decided how to divide everything and then got set up. After lunch we drove to the grand canyon of Yellowstone and hiked to the different viewing areas. The waterfall was huge and beautiful.
After dinner i put the little kids to bed and then went to the laundry facilities with mom and dad to wash clothes. We discovered that sadly, in addition to the showers being closed because of covid 19, they turned the wifi off to "discourage people from congregating" so frustrating as there is no cell reception at all up here. We got to bed late tonight, tomorrow we go see more of the park.
