Twins and Mermaids

Today we drove down to Hampton Cove and did a photoshoot with the kids.  Mom and I made the girls matching outfits for the first day of school and they wanted to do a twin photoshoot, we also made them a second outfit each, but slightly different.  So we took pictures of them in those outfits too.  I had also promised Brenna to do a mermaid photoshoot for her so we squeezed that in as well.  It was not such a fun time, the girls, especially Ella were cranky from staying up way to late the night before. but we got through it.  The rest of the day was much better so that is good.

Kids Kingdom

After Karate in the park the kids wanted to play so we spent some time at the playground.  The girls had fun breaking the rules and climbing on the entrance structure.

Today Ella's Karate school had special classes held outdoors at our local park.  Ella and Brenna both got to participate in a self defense class.  They learned what to do if someone they don't know grabs them and how to get them to let go.  The practiced kicking poor Mr. Daniel in the shins, good thing he had shin guards!

Mom had some friends over the other day and the kids had a blast playing on the waterslide and trampoline.
