Today evie and i left good old alabama for the brighter shores of auckland new Zealand. I spent the morning packing the last min items, then jon and james dropped us off at the airport around 12. Evie did great on her first airplane ride. Pretty much slept the whole time. We had a 5 hour layover in houston. We walked around a bit, ate some food, and watched a movie on the free wifi while we waited. When it was finally time to board the flight we got super lucky and noone was sitti g next to us. Evie got a bassinet and did awesome on the flight. She slept through the nighr and only cried a bit. I didnt get much sleep but that is to be expected. We got to auckland about 5:55am local time. I am so glad to be here!
